The first pictures are at a lake about an hour from Guatemala City. Once described as the most beautiful lake in the world. The grounds are a hotel where we made ourselves at home.

The next set of pictures were taken while we toured around Guatemala City itself

This was not my idea of a good time. In fact I cannot believe that I did this. The top zip line went from one mountain to another, hundreds of feet above the tree tops. There were 8 lines total. I was so tired from the climb to the top of the mountain, I think I just gave up and figured it was my only way down.

OK, even thought it says this is from coachwieburg, this is not from Carl. It is from me Joeline. He has no problem with heights or zip lines. It is my phobia, I am very attached to it and have no illusions of overcoming it. Even thought I did the zip line, I was still afraid and have no plans to challenge myself again. Done, finish, never again.
