This wonderful bed is well over 100 years old and probable weighs about 100 pounds.  It was  in the main house, not  the grounds keepers house whose kitchen is pictured.  Their kitchen was in what I would call a wood shed, then a lean to on their house was an open sided eating area, and then their adobe house was attached to that.  Very nice friendly people, loved getting their picture taken.
